Welcome to Jellyfish Slippers, a Web site dedicated to the Lina Inverse/Gourry Gabriev pairing from the series Slayers. This site came about due to the lack of available and up-to-date material in English surrounding this pairing in a central location. I hope that you find this site both informative and fun!

Site updates

March 1, 2008 - After a very long hiatus thanks to real life, this site will start being updated on a weekly basis again thanks to ... a fourth season of Slayers being announced! QP-Diana has provided a summary of everything to date, which includes:

  • Yes, there is a new series, just not sure when. QP-Diana thinks that it's going to be released in the fall because Dragon Magazine is going to be promoing it with a Slayers Special story in its September issue, which comes out in July.
  • Speaking of Dragon Magazine itself, it's going from monthly to every other month with the May issue being released March 19, then coming out every other month from that point.
  • The characters will most likely be Lina, Gourry, Amelia, Zelgadiss and Xelloss since the illustrations feature them. The series is at least featuring Lina and Gourry from the way that the promotion text is written, and the illustration seems to support it. My personal theory is that the two-minute "Meet Again" video that was released last year was a test run for this.
  • All 15 original novels will be reissued with new panoramic cover illustrations. A shot of the first one is included on the clips Diana posted up. It's absolutely gorgeous!! Those start coming out in May.

    As more material is released, especially related to the Lina/Gourry aspect of the new series, this site will be updated to reflect it!
